64  Slice  Computerized Tomography(CT)

This non-invasive test combines X-rays with advanced computer processing technology to create accurate images of the heart and blood vessels. It allows doctors to view the heart from a variety of angles. Though structure is seen it does not relay any information about physiologic heart functioning.

Electron Beam  Computerized  Tomography (EBCT) is a non-invasive test for the detection of coronary artery disease by measuring the calcium deposits in the coronary arteries.  This test may identify blockages which would not be detected by standard physiologic stress testing.

Positive Emission Tomography(PET) Scanning

Positron emission tomography (PET) scan is a specific type of imaging test that can help doctors see how tissues and organs are functioning. Unlike other scanning techniques, a PET scan shows images which reflect chemical activity within the heart. This chemical activity can reveal  which  areas in the heart muscle are functioning.
